AWAKENINGS

I remember watching this movie in 1990. For those of you who may not be familiar with it, a quick synopsis :-

“A group of patients who were effected by 1917-1928 epidemic of encephalitis lethargic, and were now in a permanent state of catatonia, were suddenly AWOKEN by their neurological physician when he gave them an extremely high dose of L-DOPA.

It was like giving the patients a magic pill that brought them back to life and reality.

Many of them had been in this catatonic state for decades, and were now completely unfamiliar with this new world they were witnessing. Many also displayed talents previously unknown to them. Sadly, the results of the treatment were short lived, the effects wore off, and no matter how much L-dopa was re-administered, they wouldn't respond, and they inevitably regress back to their catatonic states.”

I always thought it was such an unfair and cruel cruel irony.

BUT...It got me thinking... and it's also a way of leading into the subject of this blog.

Imagine that there was a magic pill we could take, at any point of our life, that had the ability to AWAKEN us to new and wonderful realities to what we currently know.

Would you take that opportunity, knowing that what you see, discover and learn, could ultimately shatter your previously understood values, awareness, and indeed reality as you know it?

Think THE RED PILL vs THE BLUE PILL

(I don't think I need to tell you where that came from)

So...at this point of my story, I am going to give you a choice. It's a simple choice. The only one who can make that choice is YOU.

Some of you may have already been triggered by my blog title and have a clue what I'm talking about. In fact, you would know exactly what I'm talking about. And you will also understand the reason why I can't or will not explain at this point...It can't and should not be. That goes against my personal code of conduct.

Those of you who wish to continue at this point should do so.

If you are going to continue for the simple case of curiosity...you are by all means welcome to.

But remember the saying

“Curiosity killed the Cat”

You have been warned. You may not return the same way as you came in.

What do the numbers actually mean?

To most : Absolutely nothing...and nor should they.

However

To approximately, what some think, (and I say this in such a loose , bordering on arrogant way, because the true number can not possibly be known) there are now over 75 million folks seeing these prompts today. All over the world REGARDLESS OF RELIGIOUS DENOMINATION, OR BELIEF SYSTEM, COLOUR SEX ETC. I guess you could call it a phenomena of sorts. 

I'm not going to attempt to explain it here...I just can't...but I found someone who could...BRILLIANTLY!!!   Although, I don't recommend you even bother read it, unless you already know what I'm talking about. Otherwise it falls into the category of irrelevant information...a waste of time.

I guess by now you have figured out why I chose to post this today...

But First, I want to get a couple of things clear.

I am not trying to scare, trick or convince anyone of anything they don't care to know about...you should be gone already.

I am simply sharing some of my own personal thoughts in the form of a story.

I have put together a list of random words, Ideas, things I have read or come across whilst researching this phenomena, over the last 13 - 17 years.  i can't remember exactly the day or moment I became fully aware of this...but it has been YEARS! They are all ideas...not necessarily fact. This is what resonates with ME and my version of reality. (and apparently quite a few million others around the world).

I personally think that we, as a species /collective form of consciousness, are in for some interesting times. I mean...Look how far we have already come...technologically speaking.

And NO...I do not believe in or participate in any of the following

ORGANIZED RELIGION

SECRET SOCIETIES

I DO believe in

Other forms of yet to be discovered intelligent life

New scientific paradigms as yet undiscovered

and that's about it.
