DANCE OF THE SPIRITS

 DANCE OF THE SPIRITS

Surges of cosmic solar wind
unleash storms of unbridled ferocity
Scattering along celestial highways,
his raw energy alone could alter
the course of the known universe...

His intensity
has the ability
to play with their fragilities.
It took millenia of evlolutionary design
to fine tune codes with-in-finitesimal strands

something he could wipe out in a single fiery rage!

But it would take an eternity, or more
to decipher secrets of life he could or would not share

Left unchecked he is a recipe for cataclysmic disaster.

Always complaining
that everything in life seemed unassailable
thus making himself unavailable
to the very thing that could quell
his fiery temperament and desires.

Once again, he was on a collision course to nowhere,
blazing trails
fully charged and ready to explode,
Yet... continually coming up against repelling forces
unable to get his satisfaction.

But as fate would have it, he got the surprise of his life
when he surged right past that watery blue orb
he thought was too small,
and insignificant to quench his inner fire.

Something happened that he was not accustomed to...

Instead of putting up a counter force
she rearranged her energy
to accommodate his oft' misinterpreted signals
...it was a chance she had to take
in order to ignite
her own Divine Spark.

a violation of the order of things if you will,

It was the only way she knew how to tame this unruly hot head
who stubbornly clung to his own rules and laws
about how the universe should revolve around him!
...Yielding, she accepts his potentially fatal flares,
transmuting his energy into a spectacular sight.

Their magnetic sources merging
into an auroral display of purple and green light...

There, they danced
beneath the Night fire...
effectively collapsing duality
for a moment of fulfilled desire.

They found a way to
 reconnect
co-create
and elevate

This is the Dance of the Spirits

  1. Captured to forever be entranced in celestial dance. She--- bound tightly in a magnificent lover's embrace. He--- spell bound in the beauty he'd always missed with his eyes before.

Just what the truth is, they would sing evermore...as impassioned lovers, wrestle as one.

    Very nice, Teresa!

  2. my apologies for not responding to your amazing comment Dustup224.
Your comment is a piece of poetry in itself... just beautifully said as a true romantic would.

I am so glad that you could feel the passion and the fury of this celestial dance.
I remember when I wrote this a year ago now I was absolutely furious with someone, and I was comparing the situation with a solar burst... it was very personal at the time, and it's only now, a year later, after the storm passed so to speak that I could see past it.
I realized that sometimes opposing forces are necessary to make us look deeper within our own hearts and minds.
Thank you so much for getting this piece Leo. !

  3. How brave and eternally wise she is.
To surrender the ego and simply be, is what we all aspire to do, but seldom reach. Perhaps the perfect incentum is what it takes? A force of will instead of nature perhaps? A beautiful tale with the most perfect frame of music. How I will concentrate on anything after this is beyond me! You write some wicked poetry, Divinia <3<3<3

  4. Finding yourself is a must!
The journey I think is the most important and exciting part--- the good part and the never ending part, as you change ((sometimes I take with someone else and sometimes I go at alone, just like how I dance))
This was beautiful, very exciting and enjoyable with the music
I loved all the fire, stars and natural disaster

    1. HA HA!! I LOVE your comment Ash. I really mixed this love story up with the perfect storm of fire, stars and Natural Disaster.
And I think what you say is importantly TRUE, that we need to dance alone at times..
Beautifully observed Ash, and thank you for your wonderful comment ♥
