Beyond
blue
(senryu)
Edging
emotions
descending
into despair
can
I step over?
A
window appears
gateway
to my only hope
today
I will soar

The first time I saw your picture a few months ago, I imagined looking through that window at midnight at my favorite constellation in the southern hemisphere. The boat over the window pane reminded me of the serenity of the sea...

Ancient Mariner
tubiskaa tree, van ooma try,
biv alma forang gah---
koy tama boi, maylatta hai,
sook hulu bondi maa...
This is a poem by Voss, the ancient mariner, in his language. He departed Earth 10,000 BC on a quest to meet with the race of spacefaring wanderers across the gulf of space to the star system Epsilon in the Southern Cross constellation. He left a key in the form of a poem in his ancient language--- where one stanza with 18 words equate to 18,000 words in modern English. He describes his travels and of the race of humanoid people who have eschewed violence, greed and hate. He then tells his waiting wife he wants her to join them in the stars...
The poem tells his wife Alma to stand on the second step at exactly midnight local, July 1, 2013 and gaze at the upper right quadrant of the window of the sculpture and repeat the phrase "Xi. Vodo. Manata" three times, each word synchronized to her loving heartbeat--- and she will establish a conscious connection that she can use to join her husband in the southern cross...

Wow Leo! This is the most amazing thing I've ever read.
DeleteThe "gibberish" language is particularly interesting, as it incorporates bondi into it... (BOONDI is what the Indigenous people call it)
The tale you add is so very beautiful. An ancient language, that we lost to time. Aparently Whales speak in a complicated trinary language, which we are unable to decipher. A few sounds represent complex ideologies.
It's Brilliant Leo. Seriously!!!
