STORM

STORM

Rapid movement of warm, moist air
rising
cooling, condensing
reaching height
gathering dew point
as droplets of moisture
tumble and collide
causing a down draft
which begins to spread
fueled by your breath

Moving within mean wind flow
through layers of the troposphere
vertical wind shear
causes deviation

downbursts
heavy precipitation
flash flooding

(sometimes turning into waterspouts)

single-cell
multi-cell cluster
or super-cell

just how far I can go,
I can't quite tell

Not one to be contained within the Earth's atmosphere,
will you take me to Venus or Jupiter?

Once sufficiently warmed and matured
we continue to rise
until
we can rise no further
we coalesce
falling
melting
raining down
(on each other)

During this phase
we experience
considerable turbulence
That which was once static
has turned into
a supercharged electrical force
 and although supercooled
will cause us to
strike out
with bright light
and a heat that can reach
five times hotter than the sun

After we have run our natural course,
further cooling cuts off the inflow
updraft disappears
and the storm will dissipate...
clearing out all of that built up negativity...

until all that is left, is that feeling of
peace, calm,  clarity and serenity

a place where the setting sun can illuminate...
